WiredBenefits offers an innovative card platform that enables employers, wellness providers, and health plans a
better way to incent, manage and track their programs with employees to achieve superior outcomes and reduce costs.
It also allows employers and program managers to easily reinforce desired behaviors by funding rewards on to
unique prepaid wellness rewards cards.
WiredBenefits' Wellness Card Platform is an easy-to-use, web-based system that can be rapidly deployed. It
complements and integrates with current wellness and disease management platforms to leverage existing programs
and campaigns. It can also automatically convert points into dollars and deposit them on to
wellness rewards cards accepted worldwide.
The Card provides direct benefits to the cardholder in the form a usable ID card with point-of-sale
discounts, cash rebates, rewards points, and prepaid incentive rewards that are earned from specific
product purchases or health management activities. The Card platform serves as a gateway to link
sponsors with consumers, generating demographic information that can be used to better serve the member.
How it Works
Employers, sponsors and administrators access the WiredBenefits Wellness Card Platform though an easy-to-use,
secure web interface which is integrated with any existing Wellness applications. Information and program data
can be brought in from current campaigns and programs or new campaigns can be created.
Once the program is set up, the program administrator can easily create and track accounts for individual
employees and teams.
For each wellness or disease management campaign, the manager can define the campaign goal, set the
bonus or reward, and track current participants and their progress. New participants can easily be added
manually or through an automated import function.
The program manager also defines the desired points (rewards)-to-dollars conversion ratio when the
campaign is first created, and the appropriate rewards amount is displayed for each participant.
Upon the campaign's conclusion, the administrator can automatically load the incentive dollars onto each
employee's prepaid wellness rewards card with one simple click.
These funds may be used like any prepaid card anywhere major debit cards are accepted. Or cards can be limited
by the program manager to only healthcare specific purchases.

multiple sources. This enables other third parties such as health advocacy groups, fitness or weight loss
partners, health plans, or PBM's to load incentive awards and dollars onto individual cardholder accounts.
This can further reinforce desired behaviors and improve outcomes.
WellnessEmpower Viral Campaigns
A special module in the platform exploits email functionality to enable participants to easily forward
campaigns and challenges on to other employees and groups to encourage them to participate in the campaign.
The platform then tracks all the signups and allows participants to share incentive awards. This capability
further enhances the social and team oriented network effects to drive participation.
